Recurring appointments

GuideUpdated October 16, 2026

In short

Turn on Repeat when you book to create a series: every few days, weeks or months, for a set number of visits, until a date, or with no end. The client gets one confirmation for the whole series and a reminder before every visit.

Setting up a series

When you book, switch on Repeat, then choose how often and when it ends:

How often
Every 1 to 52 days, weeks or months
Weekly unless you choose otherwise.
When it ends
Never, after a number of visits, or on a date
Up to 365 visits. With no end, it keeps going.
What each visit gets
Its own appointment
Same client, specialist, service and length, each on its own date.
One service at a time
Single-service only
Visits with several services cannot repeat yet.

Every visit is created straight away, a year ahead. A series with no end is topped up automatically, so there is always at least half a year of visits in your calendar.

An example. Every shop writes its own messages.

Changing a series

Open any visit and choose Edit. You are asked what to change:

Current

Only this visit. It becomes an exception, and later changes to the series leave it alone.

From now on

This visit and every one after it. Past visits are never touched.

How often a series repeats cannot be changed once it exists. To change it, cancel This and all following and book a new series.

Cancelling

Cancelling a visit in a series offers three choices: This appointment only, This and all following, or All appointments in the series. Whichever you choose, the client gets one cancellation message, not one per date.

From Google Calendar

A repeating event created in Google Calendar comes in as separate visits, and each one is read from its own title. So one series can mix client visits and personal time, if that is how you wrote it.
