Export your data
In short
The owner can download everything in one file from Settings: clients, appointments, services and message history. Owners and receptionists can also export a single client. Exports work in a browser, not in the phone app.
Your clients and your appointment history belong to your shop, not to Scisso. You can take a full copy whenever you like, for your own records, for your accountant, or to move to another system.
Downloading everything
Open Settings, go to Data & requests, and in the Data Export card choose Download full export. Only the owner sees this card.
Where to find it
You get one JSON file. JSON is structured text that another system can read; it opens in any text editor. There is no spreadsheet version.
- Clients
- Everyone not erased
- Name, phone, email, birthday, notes, language, where they came from, their last visit, and the emails and birthday texts sent to them.
- Appointments
- All of them
- Cancelled ones too, with the date, team member, service, price, payment, promotion, billing details, who it was booked for, the client's note, your notes on the visit and its messages with their status. Visits of several services are linked together.
- Services and packages
- With their variants
- Name, duration, price, description, what each package contains and whether each is active.
- Promotions and waitlist
- All of them
- Each promotion with its discount, dates and what it applies to, and everyone on your waitlist.
- Your shop
- The basics
- Name, country, currency, time zone and language.
Scisso keeps a record of who exported and when, without the data itself.
Exporting one client
When a client asks for a copy of what you hold about them, open their page and choose Export data in the GDPR card. Owners and receptionists can do this. The file holds their details, appointments (with billing details and payments), waitlist entries, and the texts and emails sent to them. More in Client data, deletion and opting out.
Your Google Calendar is a copy too
If you connected Google Calendar, the appointments that sync with it are ordinary events in your own Google account. They are yours in Google, with or without Scisso. See Connect Google Calendar.
