Confirmations and reminders

GuideUpdated September 28, 2026

In short

Every confirmed booking gets a confirmation within about a minute, and a reminder 24 hours before the appointment. Both go by SMS and by email, each switched on or off on its own, and both use your own wording.

What a client receives

LHLinden Hair Studio

Confirmation
LHLinden Hair Studio

Hello Maria, just a nudge: Ana is expecting you tomorrow at 14:30 at Linden Hair Studio.

Reminder

An example. Every shop writes its own messages.

Things worth knowing

Booked less than a day ahead
No reminder
The confirmation already carries the date and time, so nothing follows it.
Recurring appointments
One confirmation, a reminder each time
A weekly series is confirmed once, and every visit gets its own reminder.
A request from your booking page
Booking received first
The confirmation goes out once you accept it.
No phone number
Email only
A client with an email still gets the email versions, if those are on.

Two messages never pile up on one day: if the confirmation reached the client earlier the same day, that day's reminder is skipped.
