Appointments from Google Calendar: matching and incomplete ones
In short
Scisso links a Google Calendar event to a client by an invitation email, or by an exact name in the title when auto-match is on. Colours and keywords decide the service. An appointment with no client, or a client with no phone, is incomplete until you resolve it.
When you add an event in Google Calendar, Scisso works out two things: who it is for, and what it is.
Who it is for
- First
- Events Scisso created
- They carry the client with them, so they always link.
- Then
- An invited email
- If one of the event's guests has an email that belongs to a client.
- Then, if you allow it
- A name in the title
- Only with auto-match on, and only an exact full name that fits one of your clients.
- Never
- A new client
- Scisso never creates a client from a calendar event on its own.
Auto-match inferred customers is off unless you turn it on. It only matches clients that person already has, only on the full name, and never when two clients share that name.

Applies to all employee calendars. A GCal event title that matches exactly one customer by full name is linked automatically. Single-word names, and names shared by two or more customers, stay incomplete for manual review. While it is on, resolving one appointment also links every other unresolved appointment with the same name, and each one sends its own confirmation.
What it is
Your colour and title rules decide the service, or whether an event is personal time. They live in your profile, in the Google Calendar section, and Teach Scisso to read your calendar explains them with a box you can try titles in.
Where to find it
Incomplete appointments
An appointment is incomplete when it has no client, or its client has no phone number. It can come from anywhere, not only Google Calendar. No texts go out for it, though a client with an email still gets the emails.
You will find them in your inbox under Incomplete appointments, or with the Incomplete filter on the calendar.

- Step 2ResolvePick a client, create one, or show a QR
- Step 3Decide the messageSend confirmation, or not
- DoneLinkedAnd complete, if they have a phone
Resolve offers the name it found in the title, and any phone number written there. You can also show the client a QR code so they type their own details.
